Island Coachways Half Day Island Tour
Liberation Monument, St Peter Port, GY1 2ND
This 3.5 hr tour will commence at the Liberation monument in the heart of St Peter Port where you will go on a scenic drive through town and stop off to admire views of the neighbouring islands at Havelet Bay.
You will then have the opportunity to explore The Little Chapel. Originally built in 1914, the chapel is known for being one of the smallest in the world and is decorated beautifully in broken china, shells and pebbles. The Little Chapel features in the book “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society”, upon which the recent film of the same name is based.
You will then go back en route to Pleinmont Point where you will be able to see stunning views of the south coast and visit the restored German gun battery. You will then be able to stop off for refreshments at the Guernsey Pearl, visit the shop and the Shipwreck Museum, Fort Grey. Back on board the coach our driver will take you for a drive around the west coast to visit some of Guernsey’s favourite beaches, Grandes Rocques and Pembroke Bay. The tour will then come to end, finishing back in St Peter Port.
