Andy has over 40 walks of about 3 hours covering virtually all of the beautiful island of Guernsey and 10 of about 2 hours based in its charming capital of St Peter Port. Taking in the fascinating history of our island from the neolithic through to modern times with dolmens, forts, and gun batteries. Many of the walks take in our fantastic web of green lanes with hidden gems, majestic views, and tales of yore.

As a member of Festung Guernsey, a group dedicated to preserving our occupation history Andy has access to a number of private sites from the war. Please contact Andy for further information.

3 examples of Andy`s walks

Walk 1 – In the Foosteps of the Le Marchants - 2 ¼ hours

A walk in St Peter Port based on the the most influential family in 18th Century Guernsey. Taking in Town defences, Roman digs, our ancient Norman roots, and stories of Court House shinnagins, film stars, brave old Elizabethans, Princess Ann, and Guernsey`s oldest person ever. 

Walk 2 – Our Green Heartland -3 hours

Green lanes, fief court seats, standing stones, Goldsmiths, John Wesley, Arsenals and more on a tour in the rural parishes of St Saviour & St Pierre du Bois. 

Walk 3 - Hitler`s Island Madness - 3 hours

A tour of 3 of the gun batteries the Germans constructed on the island. Batteries Scharnhorst, Mirus, & Radetzsky : (2 on private land). 3 hours
